Robert L. Dew, 68, of Route 8, died May 30 at his residence. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Memory Chapel, with burial in Tucker's Crossing Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Eddie Bryant will officiate.
He was retired from Masonite Corp., was a veteran of World War II and was a member of Tucker's Crossing Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his widow, Myrtle Dew of Laurel; a daughter, Sue Poore of Laurel; stepdaughters, Bobbie Bridges of Laurel and Carolyn Holifield of Ellisville; stepsons, Billy Langley of Ellisville and Willie Langley of Pascagoula; a brother, John Dew of Waynesboro; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Men's III Sunday School Class of Tucker's Crossing Baptist Church.
Visitation will begin at 5:30 p. m. today at Memory Chapel, which is in charge of arrangements.
