Mrs. Josephine Connally Collie, 85, widow of William James Collie, died Wednesday at Rex Hospital following a long illness.
She was a native of Halifax County, Virginia, and had made her home here at 1814 White Oak Rd.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Edenton Street Methodist Church by Dr. Howard P. Powell, Rev. W. E. Worley and Rev. Charles K. McAdams. Burial will be at the Knightdale Methodist Church Cemetery.
Surviving are four sons, J. T. Collie of Pittsburgh, Pa., J. Davis Collie of Raleigh, W. H. Collie of Wendell, and C. Harvey Collie of Durham; four daughters, Mrs. Ernest Ward of Statesville, Mrs. Margaret Pickle of Richmond, Va., Miss Ida Collie and Miss Josephine Collie of Raleigh.
