JoAnn M. Adamczyk of Bay City, Michigan, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister passed away Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Bay Special Care Hospital, age 76. She was born July 13, 1937 in Bay City to the late George and Adele (Dishaw) Rosebush, Sr. JoAnn married Leonard Adamczyk in Bay City on September 17, 1955; he survives her. She was a member of St. Maria Goretti Church and volunteered with the funeral luncheons when she was able. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Surviving is her husband, Leonard, two sons, Dave (Joann) and Dale (Denise) Adamczyk, five grandchildren: Stacie (Greg) Rousseau, Kristen, Kathryn Adamczyk, Andrea (fiancé, Trevor Blandford) and Michelle Adamczyk, one great granddaughter, Madilyn Corraini, two brothers, George (Barbara) Rosebush, Jr and Charles (Marilyn) Rosebush, one sister, Norma J. Voisine, three brother in-laws: Felix (Rita), Joseph and Aloysius and two sisters, Rose and Josephine. JoAnn was predeceased by a brother in-law, Vic Voisine.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 10:00am at St. Maria Goretti Church. Fr. George Serour and Sr. Virginia Scally, SNDdeN will preside over the funeral rites. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Squires Funeral Home on Tuesday from 3:00 to 8:00pm and at church on Wednesday after 9:00am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be considered to a charity of donor's choice.
