Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. The Rev. Monsignor Frank J. Brady will officiate. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. A graveside flag presentation will be conducted by Monahan Post 64, American Legion. The Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at the Larkin Morningside Funeral Home.
Mr. Dallen was born June 15, 1895, at St. Joseph, Kansas.
He married Martha A. Crawford December 24, 1924, in Sioux City. They farmed at Bronson, Iowa, from 1930 until 1943 when they moved to Sioux City. He was employed by the Cudahy Packing Co., retiring in 1956.
He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and Edward H. Monahan Post 64, American Legion. He served in the United States Army during World War I.
Survivors include the widow; five sons, Richard of Nevada, Alfred of Sioux City, Lawrence of Melbourne, Florida, Michael of Prescott, Arizona, and Conrad of San Jose, California; six daughters, Mrs. Lawrence (Marjorie) Little of Tucson, Arizona, Mrs. Robert (Eileen) Emery of Belmont, California, Mrs. Gerald (Mary) Hanlon of Sonoma, California, Mrs. Herbert (Theresa) Gruener of Martinsville, Indiana, Mrs. Leon (Delilah) Trump of Trenton, Missouri, and Mrs. Richard (Charlene) Matousek of Sioux City; two brothers, Frank and Arthur, both of Vermillion, South Dakota; three sisters, Mrs. Rosalia Dandurand of Sioux City, Mrs. Albena Jordan of Kansas City, Missouri, and Mrs. Dyson (Alma) Meddles of Lawndale, California; 36 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
