Evelyn C. Anthony, 102, of Jonas and formerly of Lehighton, died Friday, November 1 in the Getz Personal Care Home.
She was the wife of the late Raymond H. Anthony.
Born in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Meinhart) Green.
She was a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church in Trachsville.
She is survived by eight children, Gilbert Anthony of Lehighton, Marie Borger of Saylorsburg, Jean Green of Center Valley, Floyd Anthony of Gilbert, Richard Anthony of Palmerton, Linda Greenzweig of Kunkletown, Blaine Anthony of Palmerton and Carol Serfass of Kunkletown; thirty two grandchildren, sixty seven great grandchildren, forty four great great grandchildren and a great great great granddaughter. The last surviving member of the Harry and Mary Green family, she was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters. She was also preceded in death by a son, Raymond A. Anthony.
She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
