Allan D. Anderson, 84, of 4170 Stagecoach Road West, Palmerton, died Nov. 26 in Palmerton Hospital. He was married to Muriel D. (Diller) Anderson for 60 years in July. He was a structural engineer for Ammann & Whitney, Manhattan, N.Y., for more then 40 years before retiring in 1981. Born in DePere, Wis., he was a son of the late David and Julia (Didricksen) Anderson. He attended Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Trachsville. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the European theater and attaining the rank of 1st lieutenant. He served with Battery A 741st Field Artillery Battalion and was awarded a Bronze Star and the European-African-Middle Eastern medal with three bronze battle stars. Survivors: Wife; daughter, Karen L. Williams of Oyster Bay, Long Island, N.Y., Barbara C. Breslin of Towamensing Township. He was predeceased by a son, David R.
