From Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral Home:

Chester W. "Tuffy" Adam, Jr. went to be with the Lord after a long battle with cancer on September 25, 2016, at his home in Boerne. He was born in a hospital on Main Street in Boerne on September 21, 1950, to June and Chester Adam. He enjoyed the simpler things in life - family, hard work, friends, fishing and hunting. He was known to be an honest and big-hearted man. He served 6 years in the Army Reserves.

He resided on the farm where his ancestors raised livestock and farmed for over 100 years and he continued to do so.

Chester is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jacqueline Adam; his sisters, Sheri Adam of Boerne and Peggy Adam Mott and her husband Gary; his mother, June of Junction; his mother-in-law, Laurine Lex; and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Emilie Zinsmeister and husband Butch. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on September 27, 2016, at Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held September 28, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at the Boerne Cemetery with Chaplain Ulysses Flores officiating.
