Vance Allred, 15-year-old son of Mr. an Mrs. Vance Allred, who reside near this place, was killed about 9:30 o'clock this morning when the Ford automobile in which he was coming to town, turned over. Walter Allred, a brother, suffered a broken collarbone in the accident.
Cause of the accident had not been determined this morning. The machine was travelling along the Frieden's church road three miles out, on a straight stretch, when apparently, something about the steering apparatus gave way, control of the car being lost.
The boy of the victim was brought to a local undertaking establishment and prepared for burial.
