Charles Stuart "Stu" Jones, 83, died Tuesday, October 4, 2005 at his grandson's home near Turkey Ford.

Stu was born on December 31, 1921 in Columbus, Kansas to John and Katherine (Cowley) Jones. He married Imogene Dodge on July 27, 1941 in Miami, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death in 1996. He served his country in the United States Army. Stu worked as a mill man for BF Goodrich in Miami, Ok. for 32 years. He was also preceded in death by two sons.

Survivors include one son, James F. Jones of Wyandotte, Ok.; Two grandsons, Wesley Jones and wife Michelle of Wyandotte, and Scott Jones of Wyandotte. One sister, Georgia Ray Wrest of Osage City, Ks. Ex daughter-in-law Janie Jones. Three great grandchildren: Chris, Destiny, and Shayla.

Graveside services will be 10:00 am Saturday October 8, 2005 at the Council House Cemetery. Pastor Duane Cram to officiate. Donations may be made to the Good Shepherd Hospice in care of the funeral home.
