MELVIN R. BAKER
Melvin R. Baker, 61, Tuscarora township, Perry county (sic), died Monday in a Carlisle hospital.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ethel L. Baker; three sons, Earl L., Halifax R. D. 1; Melvin, Jr., and J. Edward, at home; a daughters (sic), Mrs. Dickson Ulsh, Landisburg; three grandchildren, two brothers, S. B. Baker, Byron, Ill., and P. W. Baker, Tuscarora township, and a sister, Mrs. John D. Knisely, Summerdale.
He was a member of the Walnut Grove Methodist Church, Perry county (sic).
Services will be held Friday at 2.30 p. m. at the Walnut Grove Church, the Rev. Kenneth R. Rose, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Markelsville cemetery.
Friends may call at the Kell funeral home, 35 South Second street (sic), Newport, Thursday from 7 to 9 p. m.
