After retiring in 1992, he and his wife Audrey moved to Estes Park to enjoy the mountains and serene surroundings. They also owned the Radio Shack in Upper Stanley Village from 1992-2001. Bob loved to play the piano, bridge, ham radio operator K9BYJ, and cruising and touring the world. He was a member of Rotary International, earning the Paul Harris Fellowship and he was also a member of Knights of Columbus, his favorite was the pancake breakfasts, he loved cracking eggs.
He is survived by his loving wife Audrey; son Robert and his wife Kristine of East Hampton, Conn.; daughter Laura of Belchertown, Mass,; son Michael of Estes Park; sister Rosemary of Portland, Ore.; mother-in-law Jennie of Estes Park; four grandchildren, Bradley, Tyler, Kaitlyn and William.
A funeral mass will be conducted at Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church, 920 Big Thompson Ave., Estes Park on Saturday, March 28 at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Estes Valley Memorial Gardens. A reception will be held afterward in the social center of our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church.
