He was born June 10, 1925 to Herman and Lela (Johnson) Aderhold.
He was the youngest of four sons. He grew up on a farm in the Athens area and graduated from Athens High school.
He was a good husband and a great dad. He liked to help around the house and was a big fan of the Duke. He will be remembered for his quick wit and storytelling ability. He traveled throughout his life and enjoyed many years with the Kiwanis.
Lyle is survived by his sons, Russell (Cheryl) of Wausau, James (Becky) of Neillsville, Keith (Ingrid) of Spokane,WA and Kelly (Sandi) of Neillsville. 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Irma (Werner) in 2007.
Private family service will be held in Neillsville City Cemetery this spring.
