In this city, Feb. 4, 1934, Ralph S. Bigley, jr., son of Mrs. R. O. Young, this city, and Ralph S. Bigley, sr., of Pittsburgh, Pa; grandson of Mrs. Catherine L. Craft, and nephew of Mrs. Garnette DeShon, both of Los Angeles, Miss Florence Beeken of Watsonville, Calif., and cousin of Miss Maxine Bateman, this city; a native of Pennsylvania; age 16 years. Friends are invited to attend services at the Benbough Funeral Parlors, 7th and Date streets, Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock. Entombment Cypress View mausoleum.
BIGLEY FUNERAL THIS MORNING
With six of his classmate acting as pallbearers, funeral services for Ralph S. Bigley, jr., 17, will be held today, 10am at Benbough mortuary. The Rev. L. J. Julianel, pastor of Scott Memorial church of which Bigley was a member, will officiate. Entombment will be in Cypress View mausoleum.
Bigley died Sunday at Mercy hospital from injuries incurred Friday night when the auto he was driving turned over on Ingraham street near Rosecrans street. Alice Newberry, 14, 4007 Alabama street, and Helen Peacock, 14, 4614 Oregon street, were hurt slightly in the accident.
Bigley attended Garfield school, was graduated from Roosevelt junior high school and was a junior B at high school. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. R. O. Young, San Diego, and his father, Ralph S. Bigley, sr., Pittsburgh, Pa.

MEMORIAL FUND WILL BE GIFT TO CHILDREN'S POOL
To honor the memory of their friend, Ralph Bigley, high school youth who died recently as a result of an automobile crash, a group of young people are organizing to raise a donation for the crippled children's pool which will be called the Ralph Bigley memorial fund.
The students met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. Enders, 4620 Oregon st., for memorial services and prayer and decided at that time to do something fitting in memory of their chum. The fund will be raised by solicitations from friends and neighbors and will be turned over to the campaign fund, it was announced.
The movement will mark one of the first of younger people of San Diego to answer the appeal of the crippled children. The following will take active parts in raising the fund: Robert Officer, Louise Officer, John Enders, Barbara Enders, Stanley Hayden, Everett Fears, Jack Wind, Robert McPherson, Jack Trousdale, Dan MacGregor, Alice Newberry, Helen Peacock, Horace Ackterman, Edith Smith, Margaret Smith and John Huff.
