Mr. W. G. Hays, one of our leading merchants, died at an early hour Wednesday morning. He had been in ill health for several days, but was not thought to be seriously ill. He is survived by his wife and several children
and one sister, Mrs. Cordia Reynolds. Funeral services were at the Home Thursday by Mr. J.M. Reynolds and burial was in the Double Springs Cemetery.
