Mrs. Frances Goolsby Baxter, 67, of 3308 Monroe St., wife of Rosser W. Baxter, died Thursday at Richland Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Baxter was born in Denmark, a daughter of the late Harvey W. and Cassie Owen Goolsby. She was a member of Shandon UMC, the WMU, and was a charter member of the Iris Garden Club.
She was a national flower judge for 10 years and was in charge of the flower building at the S. C. State Fair.
Surviving are her husband; a son, Rosser Baxter Jr.; and a brother, Harvey W. Goolsby Jr.
Services will be 10 a.m. today at Shandon United Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. William C. Reid, with burial in Denmark Cemetery, Denmark.
