Fenner, Carroll S.

Memorial services for Carroll S. Fenner, 87, of Chardon Village , a retired self-employed carpenter and cabinet maker, will be held in the spring.
Mr. Fenner died Jan. 13, 1996, at home.
Born Oct. 28, 1908, in Waite Hill, he lived in Chardon Village for the past 75 years.
He was a member of Kirtland Restoration Branch, Church of Jesus Christ where he held the order of Priest and formerly ran the Junior Church for many years with his wife. He was also a member of Carpenters Union and was a Navy veteran of World War II serving in the Seabee's.
He was very well known for his skills in restoration of Century homes and he also built stage props for performing show dogs owned by Lee Millis of Waite Hill.
Survivors are his daughter, Carla M. (Lary) Gray of Chardon Village; brother Dr. Maynard (Dorcas) Fenner of McAlisterville, PA; and granddaughters Jennifer and Melissa Gray.
His wife, V. Mae Fenner, died in April 1995. Parents Sherman and Elizabeth Fenner and two brothers are also deceased.
Arrangements are being handled by Davis Trust 100 Funeral Home in Willoughby.
