John Rudolph "Johnnie" Morris, 50, of Route 3, Bardstown, died Tuesday, July 5th at Humana Hospital Audubon, Louisville,
He was an employee of Ford Motor Co. in Louisville, and was a former member of the Kentucky National Guard.
Survivors include his wife, the former Ruth Ann Proffitt; two sons, Steven Wayne Morris of Cox's Creek, and Allen Dale Morris of Dallas, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Don (Cindy) Rust, Dallas, Texas, and Sandra Lynn Morris, at home; six grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Elmer Morris of High Grove; four sisters, Mrs. Burnice (Pauline) Richardson and Mrs. Martina Richardson, both of Shelbyville; Mrs. Jimmy (Tillie) Irving, Valley Station, and Mrs. Van (Joann) Johnson of High Grove.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Bardstown Church of Christ, with interment in Bardstown Cemetery. Visitation 2 p.m. Thursday
Northside-Proffitt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Church of Christ Mission-Education Fund.
