Circleville. David Myers was born April 27, 1813, near Circleville, Pickaway county, Ohio, and died at his home in Circleville, Kas., May 18, 1890 ... Uncle Dave, as he was commonly called, in company with his wife and family came to Kansas in June, 1860, and located on his farm near town, where he remained until the death of his companion, after which he removed to town. He leaves a family of six children, three sons and three daughters to mourn his loss. He had the honor of naming Circleville .... The Holton Weekly Recorder, May 29, 1890.
May 19th, 1890. David Meyer .... He leaves two sons, Mose and Aaron, and two daughters, Mrs. Chris. Fletcher and Miss Suzanna Meyers, who with two nieces, Mrs. Alex Oursler and Miss Chrissy Meyers, all reside here .... The Holton Weekly Signal, May 21, 1890.
