Mrs. Maystadt, is the daughter of Joseph and Ann Bernholtz. In November 191, she married Michael Maystadt in Our Lady of Mrt. Carmel Church, Mt. Carmel, and they lived in the Carroll vicinity. Later she moved to California to make her home with her daughters, and in 1959, moved to Mankato to live with a son, Michael Jr.

Interment in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery, with the Rev. O.W. Koester conducting graveside rites. Pallbearers were LaVern Bernholtz, Glenn Neumayer, Roland Neumayer, Ed Huegerich, Glenn Bernholtz and Don Bernholtz. Arrangements were in charge of the Sharp Funeral Home.
