ANNA HENRIETTA BEACH --

Anna Henrietta Zahn was born at Miltonvale, Kansas, April 7, 1883 and died at a Wichita hospital after an extended illness, August 2, 1937, at the age of 54 years, 3 months, and 26 days. She lived at Miltonvale, Kansas until her marriage to Charles H. Beach Nov. 8, 1908 at Lexington, Mo. They moved immediately to Strong City, and that had been their home since.

Surviving Mrs. Beach are her husband; one sister, Mrs. John Hanson of Clay Center; three brothers, Fred Zahn of Ogalla; R. E. Zahn of Salina, and Chester Zahn of Strong City, Kansas.

During her long illness with an incurable disease, she never complained and did not want her husband and friends to know how much she was suffering. She was a loving wife and sister, a good neighbor and a true friend.

On July 28 Mrs. Beach was baptised (sic) into the Catholic church.

Funeral services were held Thursday morning, Aug. 5 at 9:00 o'clock in St. Anthony's church at Strong City, conducted by Rev. Fr. Edward J. Alfers. Interment was in the Miltonvale cemetery. (Miltonvale Record - Aug. 1937)
