Kenneth Allen, 74, died Sunday morning in Havelock of a heart attack.
Kenneth was born at Long Pine and was married to Luella Hockett, daughter of Homer and Della Hockett, who died May 1, 1939 leaving four boys and three girls.
Kenneth lived around Litchfield for several years, moving to Grand Island to work for Burlington Northern, transferring to Lincoln as a car man for 35 years. He was a member of Burlington Veterans B.R.C. of local No. 799.
Survivors are his wife, Thelma; sons, DeVeere of Chicago, IL, Homer J. of Omaha, LouVaughn of Litchfield, Roger Lee Hockett of Gillette, WY; daughters, Phyllis Furtison of Minneapolis, MN, Hilda Jean Grant of Gretna, Marsha Huenick of Lincoln; several sisters; 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Services were held at the Havelock United Methodist Church. Interment was at Lincoln Memorial Park.
