Funeral services were held Thursday, 21 Nov 1968, for Henry Jacob Rackley Sr., who died at his home of an apparent heart attack. A native of Mitchell County, he was born 12 Oct 1921, the sone of the late Pauline Mansfield and Emmett E. Rackley.
Survivors include his widow, Bonnie Condrey, two sons, H. J. Rackley Jr. and George David Rackley of Camilla; two daughters, Mrs. J. W. Douglas of Waycross; Miss Sheila Rackley of Camilla and two grandchildren; one brother, Ernest Rackley of Camilla; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Booth of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. and Mrs. Harry Musgrove of Albany.
Services were held in the Parker-Bramlett Chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev N. B. Jordan and Rev Gene Swinson officiating. Interment was in Pleasant Hill cemetery. Pall bearers were: Tommy Burford, Allen Burford, Charlie Booth, Randy Carr, Charles Condra, Daniel Martin, Toney Faircloth and Ben Washington Jr.
