+Sarah Sexton See is not buried at Beechtown. She was the first wife of Randolph See - they were married in Illinois in March 1863 and their daughter Sarah A. (also known as Minnie) was born in December 1863. Sometime prior to 1870, Randolph and his daughter returned to West Virginia. According to the 1870 census for Upshur County, the Randolph See household includes six year old Sarah A. but no wife. The marriage records of Upshur County indicate that on April 3, 1871 Randolph See (as a widower) married Sarah Elizabeth Talbott (FAG Memorial # 62997589). Please note that the monument for the 2 Sarah's are the same. I have searched the death records and cemetery records in and around Upshur County but I did not find where Sarah Sexton See died or is buried. Please remove the Sarah E. Sexton Memorial # 15607448 from the Beechtown Cemetery.
