Kermit worked in the meat industry for 42 years, starting at Cudahy Packing Co., Wichita, KS in a number of management positions. Meat plants in Atlanta, GA and St. Louis, MO, coming to Wichita as General Manager of OHSE Foods plant. He retired from OHSE Foods in 1992.
He was a member of Northstar Masonic Lodge and Midian Shrine Temple.
Preceded in death by his parents James D. and Florence Hacker, 4 brothers and 1 sister.
Survivors are wife Alice M. (Jimerson) Hacker; children Judy Kirkland, Terry (Sondra) Hacker, Kathy (Russell), Larry (Tina) Hacker all of Wichita; grandchildren Cyndee, Kacy, Shawna, Ragan, Jon, Kalon, Amanda, Joshua, Tiana, Levy and Hunter and 11 great grandchildren.
