CLEMONS, WENDELL "DUFF" DUFFIE, Hawthorne, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2005 at home surrounded by loved ones. He served his country as a twenty-year United States Marine Corps Veteran, retiring with the rank of Major and served his community for over 17 years as a quality control engineer in the aerospace industry. Survivors include his devoted wife, Theresa Ann (nee Dubinski) Clemons of Hawthorne, CA, Daughters, Tina Clemons of Dallas, TX and Christina Cullen of Calabasas, CA Also left to mourn his passing are his Brother, Richard(Dolores) Clemons, Sister, Cynthia (David) Brown, and Grandson, Samuel Cullen Hollander and nieces, nephews and a great nephew. He was known as "Duff" to his many close friends and neighbors and most affectionately as "Poppy" to his grandson, SamueL, who often said; "My Poppy can fix ANYTHING" Family and friends will gather to celebrate Duff's life and goodness at a memorial service which will be held at RICE MORTUARY, 5310 Torrance Blvd., Torrance, CA 90503, on Saturday, June 18, 2005 at 11:00 AM. Duff will be inurned with military honors at Fr. Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego (Point Loma) on Wed. June 22, 2005 at 9:00 AM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Torrance Memorial Home Health & Hospice at 3300 Lomita Blvd, Torrance, CA 90505 Funeral Home: White & Day Mortuary 3215 Sepulveda Blvd. Manhattan Beach, CA US 90266
