Judy took the greatest joy in life from her children and grandchildren and was known for her selfless devotion to those she loved.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James J. Haggerty, owner of Goodeal Transmissions, Wilkes-Barre.

Surviving are her three children, Mayor Jim Haggerty, Kingston; Dr. Kelly Haggerty Ahuna and her husband, Kevin, Amherst, N.Y.; and Patricia Haggerty Lyle, Esq., and her husband, Tim, Amherst, N.Y.; grandchildren, Ethan and Emily Ahuna and Quinlan and Zoe Lyle; sisters, Jane McCabe, Wilkes-Barre; Lauren Benner, Sylvan Lake; and Ruth Sennett, Harveys Lake; as well as several nephews and nieces.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9 a.m. Friday in St. Ignatius Church, Kingston, where Judy was a member. Those attending the funeral are asked to go directly to the church on Friday morning.
