MCCOY, LINDSEY BROOKE - age 25, of Cumberland Gap, TN, went to be with her Jesus August 1, 2009, after fighting a life-long battle with cystic fibrosis. She touched everyone's life with her smile, her strength and her faith in her Lord Jesus. A celebration of Lindsey's life will be 8:00 p.m. August 4, 2009 at Reece Valley Chapel. Graveside service Wednesday 2 p.m. in Kibert Cemetery. Family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-8 at Reece Funeral Home and Valley Chapel.
She was a charter member of the Chester Avenue Baptist Church. She was with East TN Dance Emsemble for 10 years, attended Gateway Christian School, HY Livesay, and Powell Valley H.S. Class of 2002, and South East Comm. College.
