He was preceded in death by his father Clarence Koedyker his mother Marie Barzen, and brothers Ken Carr and David Maffitt. Don is survived by his four children Don Jr., Duane, David, and daughter Diana, two grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, sisters Sandra J. Burke and Linda Farley, along with good friends David Cook and Ed and Paula Jackson of Fort Myers.
Don served in the U. S. Navy and was an Honor Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. He was a member of American Legion Post 351 in Tice and was retired from the Lee County School System, Cypress Lake High School as a custodian.
There will be no services at this time. Don was a good man and a good soldier.
