Charles R. Turner age 9 of Sedalia died on Saturday June 5, 2010 at Childrens Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born on June 30, 2000 in Marshall, Missouri son of Billy and Tammy Cureton Turner. Charles attended Parkview Elementary School and just completed the fourth grade.

He is survived by his mother; Tammy Vansteenburgh and her husband James of Sedalia, his father; Billy Turner of Sedalia, one brother; Troy Cureton, and one sister; Kindle Turner of the home, Maternal grandmother; Evelyn Cureton of Warsaw, Paternal grandfather; Charles Turner, Sr. of Sedalia.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather; Larry Cureton and his maternal grandmother; Dorthea Turner.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday June 9, 2010 with Pastor Cale Magruder officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery northeast of Sedalia.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday June 8, 2010 at the Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home.
