Charley Cox, sr., 65, died this morning at the home, 2752 North Seventy-fourth, Bethel. He was born in Seneca, Kas., and was a resident of Wyandotte County 63 years. He retired from Helmers Manufacturing company a year ago, where he had been an employee 30 years. Mr. Cox was a member of the First Baptist church. He was a member of the Woodmen of the World. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Mary Cox of the home; a son, Charles Cox, Jr., 2800 North Seventy-fourth, Bethel; two brothers, Harry Cox 7923 Greeley, Bethel, and Raymond Cox, Sr., Edwards, Mo.; two sisters, Mrs. Amy Massey, 7923 Greeley, Bethel, and Mrs. Ada Spidel, Honolulu, Hawaii; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services will be at 10:30 o'clock Saturday at the Warnick-Eads chapel; burial in the I.O.O. F. cemetery, Bethel. Friends may call at the chapel from 7 to 9 o'clock Friday night. Rev.
