A lifelong resident of Hawkins County, he opened Ed's Body Shop in Church Hill.
Preceded in death his wife Mattie Louise (Gray) Marsh, Church Hill; Parents Orbin and Maude (Tucker) Marsh.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Doris Marie Marsh, Church Hill; one daughter, Mrs. Gary (Brenda) Sizemore, Church Hill; one step-daughter, Miss Shelia Brown, Johnson City; one step-son, David Brown, Kingsport; one step-grandson; his step-mother, Mrs. Nora Marsh, Rogersville; one brother, Joe Marsh, Church Hill; one half-brother, Thomas Marsh, Kingsport, one sister, Mrs. Gertrude Messick. Church Hill; one half-sister, Mrs. Rheata Wallace, Church Hill.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 tonight at Wilson Funeral Home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Herman Christian and the Rev. Jess McMurray officiating.
Burial will follow in Church Hill Memorial Gardens.
