A lifelong resident of Hawkins County, he opened Ed's Body Shop in Church Hill.
Preceded in death his wife Mattie Louise (Gray) Marsh, Church Hill; Parents Orbin and Maude (Tucker) Marsh.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Doris Marie Marsh, Church Hill; one daughter, Mrs. Gary (Brenda) Sizemore, Church Hill; one step-daughter, Miss Shelia Brown, Johnson City; one step-son, David Brown, Kingsport; one step-grandson; his step-mother, Mrs. Nora Marsh, Rogersville; one brother, Joe Marsh, Church Hill; one half-brother, Thomas Marsh, Kingsport, one sister, Mrs. Gertrude Messick.
