Joan Roma Hall - Pueblo Chieftain - July 22, 2001 - Joan Roma Hall, 74, born Aug. 16, 1926, in Greeley, Colo., passed away July 20, 2001, in Pueblo. Joan graduated from Denver South High School in 1942, attended University of Denver and University of California in Los Angeles. She married Newell Hall, on Dec. 25, 1968.

She is survived by her husband, Newell Hall, of the family home; daughters, Stephanie (Neil) Koeniger and Phyllis (Allen) Moor, both of Anchorage, Alaska; son, Milton (Meg) Bell of Livermore, Calif.; stepson, Dr. James (Nancy) Hall of Sheridan, Wyo.; six grandchildren, Tory (RaKyel) Brogan of Manchester, Conn., Amy Koeniger of Seattle, Wash., Tyler Moor and Lindsay Moor both of Anchorage, Gretchen (Peter) Solomon of Chicago, Ill., and Alberta Hall of Denver; two great-grandchildren, Quinton and Taryn Brogan of Manchester; sister, Ruth (Ed) McMillan of Cupertino, Calif.; and brother, Charles Sutton of Nevada.

Preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Rene Turner. Joan was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Ruhamah Temple Daughters of the Nile, Pueblo Shrine Club Ladies, American Contract Bridge League, and past president of Pueblo Junior Chamber of Commerce Jayceettes. At her request, there will be no viewing or services. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorials may be made to Al Kaly Shrine Children's Transportation Fund, P.O. Box 193, Pueblo, CO 81002.
