She was a graduate of Jim Ned High School, Southwest Texas State University and was currently enrolled in Bastyr University, in Kenmore, WA seeking a Medical Degree in Naturopathic Medicine.

On February 23, 2007, a pickup and bicycle accident caused the death of Autumn Paige Sansom, age 28, in Bothell, Washington.
She was the daughter of Fredell Schwartz Sansom of Tuscola, Texas, and the late Mickey Sansom. Her grandparents are Sidney and Sarah Schwartz of Bay City. She was attending Bastyr Medical School in Bothell.
Her survivors are: mother; brothers, Taylor of Arlington, Texas and Marc and Tonya of Friendswood, Texas; uncles, Harvey and Lynn of Suwanee, Georgia, Stacy and Tonya Schwartz of Bay City; niece, Madison Sansom and nephews, Alex and Jake Sansom of Friendswood; cousins, Clay, Reed, Lauren, Nicole, Aaron & Rachel Schwartz.
Autumn was an organ donor and Memorial Services are to be held on March 10, 2007 in Tuscola.
