Laura D. Klitzka, 39, Hobart resident, was gently lifted up into the arms of her heavenly father on Saturday evening, May, 4, 2013, surrounded by her family at her home. She was born June 14, 1973 in Milwaukee to Andrea (Kotteman) Benton and the late Robert Crucius. Laura attended Pioneer Elementary School, Parkview Middle School and graduated from Ashwaubenon High School in 1991. She married Peter Klitzka on September 7, 1996 in Green Bay. Laura was previously employed as a clerical assistant for Time Warner Cable, Dish Network and Primestar. She finished her career at Bay Industries in Green Bay. When Laura and Peter started their family she chose to be at home with her children. Her life was devoted to her family and her Lord. Following her diagnosis with breast cancer, Laura maintained her dignity and courageously fought the battle for over five years. During her illness she inspired people with her smile and positive attitude. Her spirit will always remain with her family and the community. Laura enjoyed support and friendship with her "Pink Sisters" and became active with the Susan G. Komen foundation. She was a member of the Green Bay Community Church family.

Laura is survived by her husband, Peter and their two children, Taylor Marie and Logan William; her mother and step-father, Andrea and Wayne Benton, Hobart; her sister, Kelly and Todd Christopherson and their children, Jacob and Rachel, Oshkosh;Laura's adult step-children: Megin (Tim) Flitter, Mankato, MN; Nicholes (Renee) Klitzka; Teyale (Chris) Millerleile, all of Wausau; Zak Voltin, Green Bay and Angela (Danny) Hutchens, Colorado; six step-grandchildren: Macy, Dylan, Marshall, Natalie, Jaydn and Ariah; her mother-in-law, Dorothy Klitzka, Green Bay; five in-laws: Michael Klitzka, Sturgeon Bay; Sharon Klitzka and Patty Gamboa, both Green Bay; Jeffrey (Michelle) Klitzka, Wausau and Deanna Klitzka and her friend, Tom Kerl, St. Paul, MN.
She is also survived by her aunt, Carole West and husband Wayne of La Coste, Texas; cousins, Robert West and wife Janie of San Antonio, Linda Aguilar and husband Martin of San Antonio, Karen Sanchez of Briartown, OK and husband David of San Antonio, Scott West and wife Melissa of Morganton, NC, and Rebecca West of La Coste, Texas; second cousins, Jessica Salazar and daughters Brianna and Lyric, Michael West and daughter Kaylee, Taylor West, Melissa West, Nathaniel Aguilar, Joseph Aguilar, David Sanchez and wife Pamela, Daniel Sanchez and Michelle Williams.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Robert Crucius, her grandparents, a brother-in-law, David Klitzka and his son Ryan Wendler.
