Funeral Services Are Held In Dayton For Native Of Union City.
Word received today revealed the death of Charles W. O'Dell, 69, a native of Union City, which occurred last Saturday in Good Samaritan hospital at Dayton after a short illness. His late home was in Dayton.
Funeral services were held yesterday at Dayton with burial in Willow View cemetery in that city.
Surviving are two sons, Charles L., and Paul, of Dayton; a daughter, Mrs. Josephine Riggs, of San Antonio, Fla.; a brother, Grover C. O'Dell, Muncie; two sisters, Mrs. Mollie Stone, of Union City, and Mrs. Effie Parker, of Ardmore, Okla., and a half-sister, Frances Frye, of Muncie, and four grandchildren.
Mr. O'Dell was born on April 7, 1877, son of Elam M. and Wilhelmina Schroeder-O'Dell, and attended school in Union City. He was married to Pearl Lawrence who preceded him in death in 1920, and later was married to Marie Davis, whose death came in 1943.
