She was born May 3, 1924, in Buhl, Idaho. She was a homemaker and great mom for years. Later she earned her real estate license in Klamath Falls, Ore., where she sold homes until she moved to the Eugene area. She became a caregiver and loved it.
Freda's survived by five children - daughters Bunny (Sonny) McDermott of Spring Creek, Nev., and Judy Allen of Rough Ready, Calif., and sons David Paschal of Pocatello, Idaho, Steve (Michelle) Trulove of Marsing, Idaho, and Rex (Ella) Trulove, Jr. of Coos Bay, Ore. She had seven siblings - sisters Connie (Loren) Ingram of Springfield, Ore., and Esther (Roger) Harms of North Bend, Ore., and brothers Melvern (Yvonne) Haley of Salem, Ore., Dwight (Joyce) Haley and Darrel (Sue) Haley of Lebanon, Ore.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Mabel Haley, brother Bill, son Richard, and nephew Larry Dean Taylor.
A celebration of Mom's life was held Nov. 11, 2007, in Eugene.
Mom, we'll miss you terribly, especially next spring fishing on a stream or lake, and when deer season rolls around. Sweet dreams and play the piano for the angels!
