She was the daughter of Albert and Edna (Lock) Fredricksen. On October 13, 1958, in Waukegan, Illinois, she married Casimir J. Miechowicz. He preceded her in death on January 25, 2006. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and a former member of the PLAV Auxiliary Chapter #34. She is survived by a daughter, Elsie Permann of Kenosha; four step-children, James (Margie) Miechowicz of Mesa, Arizona, Linda (Les) McLean of Kenosha, Joyce (Ronald) Morse and Sandra Fifer, both of Madison, Wisconsin, ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and her devoted neighbors, Bev and Ronald Gallo.
