[Margaretta] was a very remarkable woman[. S]traight of carriage, a good mother A remarkable neighbor a lover of the woods & flowers knew all the herbs and helped out her neighbors as farms were far apart[. S] was gently bred and Worshipped by her sons. In fact when she suddenly died of Angina Pectoris at her daughter Gertrude's her son Noah did not speak to his sister for years because there was not time to send for him[. T]here were no telephones in 1883.
