T/Sgt Charles Stone died Sept 10, 1944 of wounds suffered Aug 25th. 1944 in France, According to a message received by his half-brother, Theodore Snide of New Lothrop, Mi.
Overseas since last November, he had been in service since, September 1940, when he enlisted.
His training was received At Augusta, Ga.
He was born Dept 27, 1921, in Saginaw. Mi. He had made his home with his brother and sister-in-law, Mr and Mrs Theodore Snide of New Lothrop, Mi., since the death of his mother, Mrs Lulu Bozinoff.
He leaves Five half-brothers:
