Guy Patton, 88, of Jasper Mills, died at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday following an auto accident on US 22 near Washington C.H. he was born in Grape Grove in Greene County, May 28, 1897, the son of John and Laura Gordon Patton and had lived his entire life in Fayette and Greene counties. He formerly owned and operated a grocery store and restaurant in Jamestown and a grocery store in Jasper Mills. In later years he was employed as a painter and paper hanger, retiring in 1976, and was a member of the South Side Church of Christ in Washington C.H.
