Victor Albert was born on Aug. 12, 1906 in Penna. He had a brother John born in 1898 and sister Argesnide born in 1902, both born in Solignano, Italy and immigrated to their father in Eleanora, Penna. in June 1911.
As an adult, he went by his middle name of Albert.
Albert was 20 when he married Viola Calandra, she was 21, on June 25, 1927 at Holy Redeemer Church .
Their daughter Alberta was born in 1928 & son Terrance joined the family 18 years later in 1946.
From 1947 to 1956 Albert was a partner and plant superintendant of Royal Machine & Tool Co. He previously worked at White Motor Co., first in the welding dept. and then as head of education.
In 1956 he and Alberta bought Technical Metal which they owned and operated until their deaths.
They had been living at 3709 Fenley in Cleveland Hts. & been married 48 years when Viola died on March 14, 1975 at age 68 at Richmond Hts. General Hospital from acute pulmonary edema & pneumonia.
Albert continued to live on Fenley until he died three years later on Sept. 26, 1978 at St. Vincent Charity Hospital following emergency surgery for an aortic aneurysm at age 72. Both are buried at Lake View Cemetery in Cleveland, OH in Sec. 43, Lot 521. He was survived by his children, grandchildren Rayna, Randi & Cara, a great-grandchild and his brother John living in Penna.
He was a member of the Italian Cooperative Assoc. & the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
