Cheryl, of Davisburg, Formally of Waterford, passed peacefully; surrounded by family on June 9, 2012; at the age of 63. Cheryl was married for 44 happy productive years to her High School Sweetheart and Soul Mate, Duanne Ellsworth.
She was the Devoted Mother of Steve of Clarkston and Brian (Lisa) of Charlotte , NC; and the Beloved Grandmother of Cody, Marissa, Brayden, Grace, JD, and Nathaniel.
Cheryl was the Loving Daughter of Juanita Olson (Helmar)and the late Jack Hubble; and cherished sister to Bob, Terry, The Late Jack, The Late Rick, and Jim.
Smart and motivated from an early age, Cheryl got her first job at 13 and never stopped working until her Diagnosis in March, 2011.
She graduated from Pontiac Central High School in 1967 and married Duanne the following year. While raising their family Cheryl was a Hairdresser for 20 years and later attended Oakland University earning a Masters in Education in 1998. She served 18 years in The Waterford Public School District, starting as an Elementary School Teacher and ending her career as Principal of Mason Middle School, a job she loved.
Children of all ages adored and gravitated towards her-her professional Motto and Personal Standard was always, "Children First"...
Cheryl excelled at every role - Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Educator, Advisor, Mentor, and Friend. She was Intensely Loyal and protective of those she loved. She was naturally Inquisitive and Fun-Loving, with a wonderful Sense of Humor.
Her Intelligence, hard-earned Wisdom, and Boundless Loyalty made her the Rock Center of our family.
Our lives were shaped by her Love and Care and we are forever changed by her passing...
