Donna Jonas passed away on Monday, April 13, 2009, at the age of 82. Donna was born in Wapello, Iowa, to the late Ralph Thomas and Marian Louise Dotson.
Donna was a loving person who touched everyone she met. She was a wonderful, loving and supportive wife to her husbands. She was a very special parent to her children Peggy, David, Bob and Carol. She cherished her relationships with her grandchildren, stepchildren and friends. She was a wonderful example of how to live. Donna loved life and clung to it as long as she could. She believed in the afterlife and looked forward to being with loved ones who have gone before.
She is preceded in death by her husbands: Bruce Rich, Meryl Cooper, Robert Pelton and Otto Jonas; her son, Robert Rich; her stepdaughter, Carolyn Tonge; and her siblings, Lucille Poggemiller and George Dotson.
She is survived by her sister, Mabel Kelly and her family, by her children Peggy Rich, David Rich and Carol Rich and their families and by her stepchildren Paul Cooper, Janice Bindra, Carol Sams, Donna Tobin, David Jonas and Karl Jonas and their families.
A memorial service will be held for her family and friends at Admiral Congregational United Church of Christ, 4320 SW Hill Street, Seattle Washington 98116 on Sunday April 26th at 2:00 p.m. followed by a reception.
