Another Mother gone, Another home bereft of its loving helpmate. Mrs. Andrew Wulff died at her home, seven miles south of Belfield, North Dakota, Monday evening, December 22 at 11:00 after an illness of seven weeks of intense suffering. Everything was done that loving hands could do, to alleviate her pain and bring back her health, but to no avail, and she passed quietly away on the above date. Anna Luella Amundson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Amundson, who was born on October 27, 1878, near Independence, Wisconsin. On March 10, 1899, she was united in marriage to Andrew Wulff, and they lived on her father's farm for two years, then on his father's farm for two years near Lookout, Wisconsin. They then moved to Mondovi, Wisconsin, where they resided until the spring of 1911 when they came to Belfield. To this union were born nine children, four boys and five girls, Jacob, Clayton, Isabelle, Marion, Lillian, Myrtle, Oliver, Anna and Andrew Thomas. All of whom, with her husband, are left to mourn the loss of a kind and loving wife and mother. She also leaves to mourn her departing father and mother of Blair, Wisconsin, five sisters and three brothers and a host of friends and relatives who will always hold her memory dear. Mrs. Wulff was an ambitious woman, always striving to do all in her power for the comfort of her home and family. She was confirmed in the Norwegian Lutheran Church and was a true Christian woman. The funeral was held Friday at 10:00 at the church, Reverend E.E. Mattison officiating. His reading was a part of the 15th Chapter of 1 Corinthians and his text was from Genesis 23 chapter and 2nd verse, "And Sarah died, and Abraham came to mourn for Sarah and to weep for her" The choir sang three beatutiful songs and Mrs. Dahl rendered a touching solo. Her casket was covered with beautiful floral offerings and many were the friends who came to pay their last respects. Her body was laid to rest in the Norwegian Lutheran Cemetery. Deep sympathy goes out to the sorrowing husband and children.
