Completed a tour of duty with a field hospital unit in Vietnam. Discharged from the Army with the rank of captain, he received the Vietnam Service Medal.
Recently retired from the anesthesia department of Hancock Medical Center, Bay St. Louis, Miss., where he worked 18 years. For 19 years prior to that, he worked in the anesthesia department of West Jefferson Medical Center, Marrero, La. Previously, he had been the Jackson County coroner and coroner of Roane County, both in West Virginia, where he also practiced anesthesia at the Jackson County Hospital and at Roane General Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, three sons, five grandchildren, a brother and a sister.
He was preceded in death by a son, Edward A. Weber; his parents, Edward A. and Gertrude "Jane" Bryan Weber; and a brother, Edward A. Weber.
