Rick L. Anderson March 16, 1953 - Oct. 8, 2014 MISHAWAKA - Rick L. "Rickey" Anderson, 61, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away at 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 8, 2014, in his residence with his family by his side from an extended illness due to the complications of Diabetes. Rick was born on March 16, 1953, in Tipton, IN, to George H. and Tharan E. (Nickey) Anderson, both of whom have preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Loree Clevenger in 2011. On June 3, 1978, in South Bend, IN, Rick married Glenna J. Yenna. Glenna survives along with two brothers, George "Ed" (Andrea) Anderson of Knox, IN, and Michael Anderson of Peru, IN, six nieces and five nephews. Rick worked in the Jehovah's Witness Public Ministry for 7 years including 2 years at the World Headquarters in New York, and several years as a respiratory therapist for St. Joseph Regional Medical Center and home care with Elkhart General Hospital, retiring in 2005. Rick was a member of the Kingdom Hall Mishawaka North Congregation and he graduated from Oak Hill High School in Converse, IN, and from Ivy Tech as a Certified Respiratory Therapist. Memorial services will be on Saturday, October 18, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at the Kingdom Hall, Mishawaka North Congregation, at 2431 Filbert Road, Mishawaka, IN 46545, with Tim Berg officiating. Bubb Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
