In 1845, Patrick with a family of 10 children 7 boys 3 girls came to the U.S. landing in New Orleans the 6th day of February 1846. Two years after coming to the U.S. another son was born. Patrick and Mary might of had one son who died in Ireland and another that died at sea. Patrick purchased a farm in Daviess Co Indiana.
