Mrs. Cooke died Jan. 14 in Sandy at age 91.
She was born Nov. 10, 1903, in Oswego, N.Y., and had lived in Portland for 77 years.
She studied piano and voice at the Becker Conservatory in Portland. She later directed choirs and music in several churches and taught piano.
She and her husband of 61 years, Ernest M., attended the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her sons, John W. of Vancouver, Wash., David E. of Portland and Roger W. of Sandy; daughters, Emily Mueller and Carolyn L. Wade, both of Portland, and Priscilla J. Hill of Sandy; 19 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Sunset Hills Memorial Park.
