Glen McKean, 90, died May 22, 2008 at St. Lucie Medical Center, Port St. Lucie. He was born in Winner, SD, and has lived in Fort Pierce for eight years.

He worked at the Social Security Headquarters in Baltimore, MD for almost 36 years, retiring as a division director.

He moved to Florida and worked as a real estate agent for several years.

He was a veteran of World War II. He entered the Army as an enlisted man and later received a commission as an officer in the Medical Administrative Corps.

He was a member of the Indian River Presbyterian Church in Fort Pierce and the Elks Club for 26 years.

Survivors include his wife, Joan; daughters, Beverly Casebere of North East, MD and Margaret Joiner of Rehobeth Beach, DE; brother, Lloyd McKean of Santa Maria, CA; three step-children; four grandchildren six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by one grandchild.
