Robert Edward Sellers
(May 6, 1951 - December 17, 2011)

Robert Edward Sellers, age 60, of Alma died suddenly Saturday Dec. 17th, 2011 from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident in Jeff Davis County. He was a native of Appling County but had lived most of his life in Bacon County. He was son of the late Edd Sellers and Norene Meeks Sellers, a retired welder, an avid fisherman, member of Bacon Masonic Lodge #59 and had served in the U S Army during the Viet Nam War.

Survivors include his daughter, Brandie Bolt and husband Chris of Kathleen, GA, a brother, Jerry (Shorty) Sellers and wife Myra of Alma, three sisters, Brenda Sellers Woods (Jim) of Goose Creek, S C, Linda Sellers Frazier (Jamie) of Winnsboro, S C, Nancy Sellers Boatright (Wallace) of Alma, four grandchildren, Austin, Jacob, Kellie and Brileigh. His girl friend, Sherry Taylor and special friends, Becky Sellers, Tony McLemore and Tony Nettles.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00 o'clock from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Pet Hayes officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Monday evening between 6 and 9 P M.

Active pallbearers will be, Lee Taylor, Edward Padgett, Tony Nettles, Austin and Jacob Cornett, Clay Boatright and Collin Sellers. Honorary will be, Bruce Benton, Tony McLemore, Wallace Boatright, Bradley Taylor, Jesse Todd and Jesse Bell.

Crosby Funeral Home is in charge of all the arrangements.
